Cross Process App Reviews

While the effect are nice, paying for an App that doesnt function properly is not worth any price. Im getting the same "blackscreen" issue as the other reviewer. I should have taken his warning and not purchased this App. The App freezes when trying to load a new picture an gives me a black screen. Ill reset my phone and it will work ONCE, then freezes again. To have to reset my phone each time I want to use the App isnt worth it even if they paid me to use the App. Save your money until this bug is fixed. Two thumbs down. :( Even though previous poster says App is fixed, it isnt. Wait for developers to fix it - Hopefully next update.

PLEASE UPDATE for retina display! Also, would like options for low, med and high quality output!

Idk what all the other apps are whining about because ive had some of the most beautiful results with this app. My normal photos look like they were taken with a really expensive camera.. Lol. If you want a good app that delivers great cross processing effects then look no further. I have TONS of photography apps but this one is def going to my most used folder. :)

I feel like a professional photographer taking photos using this app - totally amazing outcomes! Great app and so much fun!

I love this app it is definetly one of my favorites. The effects it produces are absolutely amazing. One problem I have is how I process a pic and then the app freezes and not a big fan of the autosave function.

This is one of very few apps that will process and enhance your photos to make them better. It has a character that isnt like anything else in the app store. I shoot mostly black and white. But whenever I put out a colour shot, its run through this app. A must have.

Great app!

This is frustrating. What was a great app just became crap. My square photos get cropped to wide format, no matter what I do. On top of that, the sharing features are pointless. One gripe Ive always had with the app is the default to taking a photo. For my purposes, CrossProcess is a post-processing app. I would appreciate the option to turn off camera mode as the opening function.

The 2.0 update reverted to the old behaviors of cropping my square photos to a rectangular aspect ratio. Very disappointing compromise, choosing between the lovely CrossProcess colours or the aspect ratio I want. :( If you dont shoot square this is a 4 star app. (5 if you dont mind having it save every photo without a chance to review.)

Other users have pointed out the 1:1 bug but having been a huge fan of this app and an avid user I immediately also noticed that the vignette overlay has been reversed! Why?! Ive also run into a number of other issues, one where the last processed image stays on screen, the new image tries to push it off but fails and sits there undeveloped. What is normally a 5 star app is 3 stars until we get an update. Until then itll be manual curves in another app. (boo!)

Had this app for a long time. Love it for the quick, no-hassle way to capture snapshots when I dont care much for how it get processed. However, since the last update or two, its been crashing like mad on my iPhone 3GS! I can hardly ever take a photo now. The app exists almost right away after launch. Please fix!!!

this used to be my absolute favorite app. but the processing isnt as good anymore when used with the newer iPhone camera. the images have lost their charm. I think its because the camera on the iPhone exposes more evenly and white balances better, which causes cross-processed images to not come out the same way. I hope you guys can put out a fix that accommodates for this. I think if there was a way to control the exposure to underexpose a little, youd be able to get some amazing images again.

Crashes everytime (on launch) with iPod touch 5

Occasional crushes is one thing, it is just not working after iOS7. Please update.

Been using Cross Process since I first the iPhone 4, now using it on my iPhone 5. Always such amazing results; textures, colors, light and clarity. I compose, and Cross Process takes care of the rest. It doesnt do everything if course, but its simply fantastic at Cross Processing! Highly recommend it for the novice iPhoneographer to the veteran and Pro photographer.

Better results than any other photo filter apps Ive used. Would prefer some instant option previews tho.

Gives photos a clean look and vintage feel

I love this app, been using it for years. Have gotten amazing results with many different hues and colour temperatures. Glitches a tiny bit from time to time but whatever, feels old school. I do wish they would update it for iOS 8, if anything just crank the resolution for us iPhone 6ers and beyond.
